Workshop & book launch Sophie Nys ‘Not To Be Fed But To Be Famous’

In 2017, the 'Curating the Library' book collection built up between 2003 and 2009 temporarily moved to LUCA School of Arts, where the library became the centre of events and lectures.

Posture Editions, in collaboration with artist Sophie Nys, held a workshop there where students were invited to imagine a book from the library. This formed the basis of the publication  ‘Not To Be Fed But To Be Famous’. Sophie Nys adds an edition to the book to point out the absence of a librarian.

On 15 December 2017 the book ‘Not To Be Fed But To Be Famous’ was launched at De Singel. With cultural philosopher and activist Lieven De Cauter, curator and editor Moritz Küng and literary scholar P.J. de Voogd.
