Posture Editions 10× ‘Painting after Painting’

Posture Editions 10× ‘Painting after Painting’

We are pleased to see that 10 artists with whom Posture Editions has collaborated on books are taking part in the upcoming Painting After Painting exhibition at the S.M.A.K. in Ghent, running from April 4th to November 2nd, 2025.

The exhibition brings together over seventy contemporary painters, offering a distinctive view of recent developments and tendencies in painting. Artists today blend past influences with new explorations, pushing the boundaries of the medium. Some of the works tackle narrative-driven themes, touching on personal experiences, politics, identity, gender, and representation, while others explore abstract or formalist languages, testing their relationship with other forms of contemporary visual production.

The ten artists selected also embody the range and depth of Posture Editions’ approach. Each of our books offers a unique perspective on contemporary art, engaging with a variety of wider themes.
