Upcoming book with Henk Visch

12 years after ‘Exactly how I remembered it’, Posture Editions is planning a new publication with the Dutch artist Henk Visch.

The new book traces the rich artistic career of Henk Visch through numerous sculptures and drawings.

The text is written by the Belgian art critic Barbara De Coninck and is based on in-depth conversations she had with the artist about how he has developed into the person he is today. Who his heroes are, who he in turn has inspired, and what his outlook on life is.

The written record of these questions posed to Henk Visch forms the backbone of the book.
These interviews explore the artist’s motivations, probe the origins of his poetic titles, and reconstruct his friendships with kindred spirits and friends.

Works by Henk Visch can be found in major museums such as the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, Van Abbe Eindhoven, S.M.A.K. Ghent and Middelheim Antwerp, but there are also countless sculptures in public spaces in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Japan...

This book will be published in collaboration with Be-Part Kortrijk/Waregem, platform for contemporary visual arts, where the artist will have a solo exhibition in fall 2026 (12.09-29.11.2026).
